Dave Guy founded DGR Performance in late 2010, is the former co-owner of SGS Automotive, and also served as the shop manager for Kauffman Motorsports. After a stint as a computer engineer, he decided it was time to pursue his passion, combining his engineering mindset with the ultimate challenge - tuning an automobile. Guy has been tuning OEM computer systems for maximum performance since 2000, back when a plug-in chip was considered state-of-the-art. With his 10 years of experience tuning on various engine management systems and vehicle platforms, he can handle even the most difficult setups. There are thousands of tunes in his database that covers many different applications, and there are few combinations that he does not have hands-on experience with on the dyno.
DGR Performance specializes in Ford and General Motors performance modifications. For our daily-driven customers, we place just as much importance on the overall drivability of the car, in addition to making as much power as possible that will remain reliable - we don't tune to the edge of detonation. We can help you go quicker, make more power, or even get better fuel mileage through our extensive factory ECM programming experience.
